❄️ First Grade Fun with Snowflake Bentley! ❄️ Last week, our first graders dove into the story of Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin! 📚✨ They learned about Wilson Bentley, the amazing American photographer and meteorologist who was the first to capture the beauty of snowflakes in stunning detail. ❄️📸 To get creative, our students made their own snowflakes using Q-tips—each one unique and perfectly symmetrical, just like real snowflakes! 🌨️❄️ What a cool way to connect with science and art! #SnowflakeBentley #FirstGradeFun #WinterLearning

This week, students in Ms. Gilmour's DLI class explored the traditions of Chinese New Year by making red envelopes! Red envelopes symbolize good luck and prosperity and are shared with family, friends, and employees to spread well-wishes and positive energy. Such a fun and meaningful way to celebrate!

Last week, our incredible LPS staff took part in a fun and secretive "Underground Spirit Week"! They kept the themes under wraps from both students and administration, making it a surprise each day. Students and principals had a blast trying to guess the daily theme—such a great way to add excitement to our school community!

🎉🎓 100 Days Smarter! 🎓🎉 Our LPS students recently celebrated the 100th Day of School in style and creativity! From rocking decorated shirts in a fabulous fashion show to dressing up as 100-year-old versions of themselves, the day was full of laughs and learning. Students practiced counting to 100, writing to 100, and discovered so many fun ways to explore the magic of this milestone number. We're so proud of all the hard work and joy they bring to every day—and we're excited for the next 80 days of growth and adventure!
