This message is for Tuition Transfer Student Families:
For the 2014-2015 school year, the tuition transfer process for Lawrenceburg Schools has changed due to compliance with the new laws; IC 20-26-11-32. LCSC Policy 5111 includes compliance updates. It can be found along with all policies under the District link on the corporation website. Under the new law, transfer tuition students who completed this past school year at Lawrenceburg are grandfathered to attend our schools during the 2014-2015 school year. Students are also able to attend if they have a parent who is an employee of the corporation or if another member of the household attends Lawrenceburg. New students wanting to gain entrance for the 2014-2015 school year must apply by Friday, June 27, 2014 to the Lawrenceburg Administration Office. Grade level limits were set June 9, 2014. Remaining spots will be determined by the difference between actual enrollment and grade level limits. If spots are open, a public lottery may need to be held after review of registration enrollment.
If you have questions, please contact Lawrenceburg Admin. Office at 812-537-7201.
Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation (LCSC) partners with the Indiana Student Achievement Institute (InSAI)
During the 2009-2010 school year, LCSC, as well as each individual school in the corporation, began a partnership with InSAI (www.asainstitute.org). The goal of that partnership is to increase student achievement throughout the corporation. District/school vision and mission statements were developed, data analyzed, targets set, areas of concern discussed, and strategies identified that were incorporated into a plan of action that will reduce barriers to learning and increase the capacity for our students to grow academically. The schools are implementing, reviewing and revising their plans through this continuous school improvment process. Each school's improvement plan can be found under the "Schools" tab on the left of this screen. LCSC encourages active participation from members of the community to work with us to improve our schools and help our students to be more successful. Please contact a school within the corporation with which you would like to be involved through community council meetings.
